Dr. Shokat has spent the last 9 years treating patients, in the north Florida and south Georgia region, with painful conditions.  He is excited to bring his expertise and knowledge of medical cannabis to the north Florida region. 

 

Dr. Shokat is board certified by the American Board of Pain Medicine and the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He began his medical career as a combat medic for the U.S. Army Reserves. Dr. Shokat trained at prestigious medical programs to include:

• Residency at Emory University Hospital

• Fellowship at University of Florida Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Institute.

Dr. Shokat has conducted valuable research and been published in professional journals. He has received many honors for his work and is an active member of numerous professional associations including the AOA, GSIPP, AAPM, AAPM&R, ASIPP, and FOMA.
